Trip to Glasnevin and Natural History Museum
24th April 2018
Last week second year students were treated to an enriching day in Dublin as part of a History and Science trip. Students were given a guided tour of Glasnevin Cemetery, an important historical landmark which offered students an insight into the lives of the most prominent Irish figures who make up the Junior Cert History course which the students are currently studying.
The next stop on the day brought the students to the Natural History Museum of Ireland in Merrion Square. Students were offered the opportunity here to discover the natural world through lifelike zoological models, geological samples and engaging activity areas.
Thank you from all the students to Ms Brady and Ms Kiernan who organised the trip on what seemed to be the first real summer day of the year!
